Allstate has offered me 0,000 as an injury settlement. Almost 3 years ago I was the passenger in an accident where the driver blew a .12 . I sustained lasting injuries to my right (dominant) hand and elbow as well as minor significant head abrasion. The pinky finger on my hand is fused at the last and middle joint and shows significant deformity ( as do most of the fingers to some extent) I have mallet finger on my middle finger and my index finger's top knuckle is fused. I have stiffness in all the joints that do move in that hand. My elbow was gashed open and has a horrible scar as well as loss of range of motion to a small degree. It does hurt if I put even a little weight on it( such as resting my head on my elbow while sitting at a table) I was also out of work for about 4 months and suffered a considerable amount of pain. My health insurance and auto insurance are looking for a combined ,000 reimbursment. I figure since the drivers liabillity insurace tops out at 0,000 and I would be getting back about 0,000 with the insurance reimbursment factored in that leaves them making out with 0,000. Is it worth 30% (lawyers fee) of that 0,000, assuming I would get the max, in hiring a lawyer. I figure that would net me about 0,000, ,000 more but a lot more headache. I had a medical consultation by a hand specialist who said I lost about 41% use of my right arm. I am also still able to work and have adapted to still be able to play violin, guitar, and hockey. I'm not looking to get rich just don't want to get ripped off. thanks for any help.

I have been dealing with an injury claim for quite some time now, and both I and the insurance adjuster are very close to a settlement. He stated that he would present my final offer to the committee this week. Can anyone tell what this means and whether or not the adjuster was working with this committee throughout the whole process of the claims? We have been back and forth on offers for the last 4 months

Involved in an accident where a DUI driver rear ended me. Insurance offered my lawyer 25000 settlement. Is this a good amount? My lawyer stated that this is the max of the insured drivers dad's policy. Any help in this decision is appreciated.
Okay, I was in my company vehicle at the time, which was destroyed. He hit me at 70 mph while @ a red light. I went through chrio for 4 months, but got hired by a new company, which caused it to where I haven't gone in 2 months due to travel. My back has taken the most pain, and the lumbar region ive had surgery on 5 years prior is reinjured. I haven't signed anything yet, I just don't want to get screwed.

We would rather just tear down the garage and keep the extra insurance $$ to fix other things, can we legally do that? House is currently mortgaged, will this p.o. the mortage company b/c we are going from a house with a garage to a house with no garage? We are planning to sell the house in 4 months.

I got rear-ended at a light.I had a PI attorney since day 1. I went to the chiropractor 3 times a week for 4 months. (also went to MRI, Orthopedist etc..) On the final report it says I have 5-6 % permanent damages. Also says i got bulged disks in the neck.

Just myy medical bills total about 000.00 and the insurance made an offer of 00.00

Should i take it or got to court?

Anyone had similar experience or any lawyer??
Oh and i Forgot. Im in Florida which is a no-fault state, so my own insurance company is paying for 80% of all Medical bills UP to .000 so there is about 00-3500 that remains unpaid. So i have to deduct that from 00.00 plus attorney's fees which are 33.3%

So there is about 50.00 left
